Hardest Goodbye.
Life brings us new opportunities everyday meeting new people trying new things continuously evolving. Time never waits for no one it never has and never will but we often don’t realize it until the sand of time rushes through our hands leaving us empty handed. As current times force us to follow the robotic patterns that perfection is everything and showing emotion to the ones that matter to you is a sign of weakness. But I believe that showing emotion is the most important thing in a relationship telling someone how much they mean to you is crucial. As the sun sets in the east and as the night comes to an end every thing in life is destined to reach a final point and when that end comes it often shatters us to pieces or sometimes makes us stronger accepting the end and moving on with the new things life throws at us. However, saying goodbyes is hard and we often deny saying them but the truth is that saying goodbyes is important to honor the footprint others leave on our heart and validate the gravity from which they pull us to themselves.
Just like all things my Amal journey also came to an end. The last session was one of the most memorable sessions ever. I enjoyed every single thing in that session from the scavenger hunt to giving grateful remarks, listening to Sir Saad’s emotional speech and getting emotional. Everything was sentimental and warm hearted. The session started with a scavenger hunt activity which was really fun. I was in Maam Fiza’s team and we won the activity. The best moment was when we surprised Sir Saad & Ma’am Fiza with our thank you note. The look on their faces was so felicitous and contented.
We continued our session by writing each other grateful remarks. Sir Saad’s speech was something none of us expected and it left us all extremely sentimental. At the end of the session when it was the time to say goodbye every single person got really emotional and it was a moment that moved us all at heart. This Amal journey was one of the most life changing experiences I ever had. The way it morphed me into a completely different person is the most astounding thing that ever happened to me. All the moments shared and all the laughs felt through the screens, all the good memories take up residence in my heart, all of it will always be the something that I want to have again. But I know that it is time to say goodbye with a heavy heart but we know that it’s always the darkest before the dawn and that all goodbyes are a way to new beginnings.
